How to Cook and Prepare Salmon 3-Ways!

Here are three quick and simple recipes showing you three ways to cook and prepare your salmon. Good luck and happy eating!

1. Grilled Honey Salmon Bowl

  1. Start by stemming and massaging your kale with 2 tsp of olive oil, 1/2 lemon juice, salt and pepper and set aside.
  2. Slice your radishes and cucumbers really thin and cut your corn. In this recipe, it calls for raw corn but you can grill if desired. With raw corn, it gives more crunch and sweetness.
  3. Start to season your salmon with a mix of 2 tsp of honey, sprinkle of paprika, sesame seeds, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  4. Heat a pan with oil and wait till it gets hot. Place on your salmon about 4-5 minutes on each side, skin side down, until it gets charred and crispy.
  5. Time to assemble! The last step is to slice your avocado. Put your kale in a bowl with the cucumbers, radish, corn and sliced pickled shallots. Top with your salmon and sliced avocado. Drizzle with olive oil and the other 1/2 of lemon juice.

2. Pesto Pasta w/ Baked Tomato Salmon

3. Smoked Salmon Potato Pizza with Herbed Labneh

  2. Once grated, take a paper towel and dry them down to get our the moisture.
  3. Add in salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder and mix with the grated potatoes.
  4. Heat a pan on medium high heat with a drizzle of olive oil and place your potato mixture and make a pizza shape around the pan. Pat it down, mix it around, like you would an omelette.
  5. Once mixed around, flat down in the shape you want and let cook through. Once cooked on one side, gently flip the galette and cook on the other side.
  6. While your potatoes are cooking, get your spread ready. Mix 1/2 cup of Plain Labneh with 2 tsp dill and juice of 1 lime. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix and set aside.
