I remember starting this account after I graduated with my bachelors of science in nutrition and dietetics because I loved helping people get creative with recipes and find healthier alternatives to junk foods. Lately I haven't been posting recipes or creative ideas like I used to and I want to get back to that because it's fun for me and people always ask me for my recipes! So I'm sharing this summer salad idea because it might not be a flavor combination you're used to but I can assure you it's a good one 🤗😊🥗🍍 . . Back in LA! ✨ And it feels soooo good to be back on my routine. I ate ALL THE THINGS while on vacay knowing that I can always come back to my foundation. ✨ I chose to not stress about my body and indulge in anything my body wanted. Real Talk 👉🏼 Proud of myself for waking up early and taking the time to get some food prep done before work today! 💯 Being sick has thrown me off my game this week, and I'm not going to lie I've been feeling a bit down all day about it. My mind has been foggy all week, I'm moody, low energy, I’ve been picking myself apart, haven't been able to workout and I feel like I've gotten absolutely nothing done.🤦🏼‍♀️ ✨Finally had my ah-ha moment during my afternoon walk and I decided to consciously shift my perspective by focusing on my small accomplishments vs. the things that haven't gotten done. For example, how grateful I am for this beautiful and nourishing lunch that I just inhaled which is making my soul and belly very happy. 🤗 👏🏼High-five to myself for choosing to see the good even when I don't want to. ✋🏼High-five to you if you were feeling anything like me today and you decide to stop and see at least ONE good thing that's happened to you or that you've accomplished today.
