Carne Asada Tacos with Avocado Salsa

Roll out that grill and learn how to make these Carne Asada Tacos with creamy Avocado Salsa! We use 8 oz. of flank steak but skirt steak works just as well.



Avocado Salsa:


  1. Mix all marinade ingredients in bowl.
  2. Put flank steak in marinade. Make sure entire piece of meat is covered by the marinade. Put in fridge for 2-2.5 hours.
  3. Remove meat from marinade and dab off excess marinade with paper towel.
  4. Cook over hot coals for a few minutes for medium to medium rare. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Place all avocado salsa ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth. Keep adding water until it blends smoothly.
  6. Put cooked meat on tortilla, add onion/cilantro, and top with a drizzle of avocado salsa.
