Bok Choy: Great Leafy Plant

Bok choy, also known as leafy Chinese-cabbage, is one of the more popular vegetables in China, the Philippines, and other East-Asian regions. With it's unique taste, and succulent leaves and stalks, it is not surprising that it is also becoming popular in the western world.

Its taste will vary from baby bok choy to shanghai bokchoy. Whereas baby bok choy is more recognized as being sweet, shangai bok choy is more known for being bitter, with a taste similar to that of cabbage or lettuce.
