Barely Bread Pudding

This weekend I experimented with new recipes and resulted in an interesting barely bread pudding! This is a sweet recipe that is sure to get your taste buds jumping! Serves 4 big portions.

What you'll need:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F bake
  2. Cut up your bagels into roughly 1 inch pieces and place in a large mixing bowl
  3. Grease a medium sized baking dish with1 tbsp ghee
  4. Over a medium heat, heat up you honey, milk and ghee until milk is hot and everything is mixed well together
  5. Remove from the heat and leave to cool 
  6. Once cool add 2 slightly pre whisked eggs to the milk mixture
  7. Pour the "custard" over your bagels ensuring all the bread is covered 
  8. Pour into your baking dish ensuring it's evenly spread out 
  9. Leave for 10 minutes to allow the mixture to soak into your bread
  10. Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes
  11. Once cooked, serve warm with a few spoons of Almond Yoghurt 
  12. Enjoy x
