Banana Nut French Toast

3 Ingredients. Easy. Healthy. Simple. Delicous. What's not to like? 

Sometimes you wake in the morning with extra time - so why not prepare yourself a special breakfast? This recipe only requires 5 minutes of prep time and 10 minutes of cooking time. This french toast is bound to brighten up your morning! 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 slices Sourdough Loaves
  • 3 whole Pasture-Raised Eggs
  • 1 tsp nutmeg 
  • 2 tsp cinnamon 
  • Fourth & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee 
  • Topped w/
  • 1 whole banana - sliced 
  • 1-2 tbsp Almond Butter
  • Sliced almonds/nuts of choice 
  • Maple Syrup 

  • Directions

    1. Preheat pan on stovetop to medium heat.
    2. In a shallow bowl, mix together eggs, nutmeg & cinnamon.
    3. Slice up 2 toasts & dip into egg mixture.
    4. Add 1-2 tsp of vanilla bean ghee - coat pan evenly. 
    5. Place dipped toasts onto pan and cook each side for 1-2 minutes or until slightly golden brown. Do the same for the remaining toasts.
    6. Top with granola, sliced bananas, nuts & maple syrup! 
    Fun fact - I actually ate this in under 5 minutes. This was so delicious I'll definitely be making it again and topping it with different fruits and nuts. Be creative with your toppings and add all your favorites!
